چکیده

The aim of this study was to determine the antimicrobial activity essential oils obtained from sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum L. cv. ‘Genovese’) cultivated in open field under different shading conditions (red, blue, and pearl nets with a shade index 50% full sunlight exposure (control plants)), harvested at times. (BEOs) all samples determined for four microorganisms, while determinations an additional five microorganisms included non-shaded plants, plants grown red nets, second harvest blue net. Basil oil exhibited surpassing relevant commercial antibiotics regardless growing case B. cereus, K. pneumoniae C. albicans, superior S. aureus, E. coli P. vulgaris. influence application colored highly significant (p < 0.01) cases analyzed except albicans aeruginosa, time proven pneumoniae. ANOVA proved that activities are dependent on methods plant production, treatment, time. Obtained results discussed relation previously composition yield periods.
